How AI and ChatGPT will impact the job search process

[ad_1]

AI is poised to completely upend the way we search for work. If you haven’t used AI or ChatGPT in your job search, chances are your competitors have. What does this mean for the job search process and the future of recruiting?

Thanks to AI and ChatGPT, anyone can now write a resume and cover letter, meaning everyone’s resume and cover letter will look the same. Employers and recruiters won’t know if your skills and experience are real. They won’t know if You are real.

So what are they going to do?

Recruiters will need to authenticate you

@jtodonnell In response to @christinamzc Here’s how AI and ChatGPT will impact the job search 😲😜🤔🤓 AI and Chat GPT are going to have a huge impact on the job search in the very near future. This is because they allow people to create fake resumes and cover letters. therefore, recruiters and hiring managers will need a way to authenticate that you are who you say you are. I think we’re going to see a big transformation with new technologies that will allow us to demonstrate our value to employers in a new way. I think there are exciting times ahead, but you will need to pay attention because it will happen quickly and if you don’t adapt, you could be left behind. here is how the job search will be directly impacted by this technology. and while you wait for that to happen, if you’d like some help with your resume, check out the new tiktok series I’ve listed below that may help you. #AI #chatgpt #jobsearch #jobsearchtips #careerok #careercoachontiktok #cover letter #RESUME ♬ original sound – JT O’Donnell

Employers and recruiters will need to authenticate you in some way. The job search process will move from resumes and cover letters to a new era where recruiters will actually find you. And that means new technologies will become available over the next year that will enable recruiters and employers to do this. This technology will authenticate you because it will use things like video to know that you are who you say you are.

Now, before you come and say, “Yes, but they create avatars,” trust me, there will be new technology that will verify that you are who you say you are and give you a chance to put yourself- even in front of hiring managers and recruiters and compete in a way you’ve never been able to before. In addition, this will increase the number of recruiters who will approach you to offer you vacancies for which you would be suitable.

I don’t know about you, but I hate knocking on doors, writing resumes and never getting a response. This technology is coming now and will make it easier to connect with employers.

People often ask me, “Will I need a LinkedIn profile?” Yes, you will still need a LinkedIn profile. LinkedIn is the yellow pages for your individual business. This is how people find you. But it’s the tools that are coming to help combat AI counterfeiting – which you’ll use in conjunction with LinkedIn – that are going to completely change the way you look for work, because you’re not going to look for work anymore. You are going to look for work. You’re going to be a job marketer. You will be discerning. You will know what you want and what you want will come to you.

The day this technology drops and I can tell you about it, I’ll share it all with you and show you how to harness it so you can go out there and finally start getting the jobs you want and deserve. Good luck and go get them!
